No need for coating removal or threading work on the inner and outer coated steel pipes! A convenient mechanical joint that does not require disassembly, featuring a disengagement prevention function and high water tightness.
No disassembly required for connection!
Introducing the "Suppon Joint" series, a mechanical joint method that only requires insertion and tightening!
The Suppon MD Joint is a mechanical joint characterized by its ability to be installed without removing the outer coating of internally and externally coated steel pipes (VD pipes and PD pipes). It allows for connection without disassembly, and installation can be done with just a torque wrench, making it exceptionally user-friendly. It accommodates internally and externally coated steel pipes with diameters ranging from φ40mm to 150mm.
It is also possible to slide along the pipe, making it easy to connect existing and newly installed pipes. This can be utilized for repairs or renovations of aging piping systems at the connection points with existing pipes.
There is no need for traditional flange welding or screwing tasks, eliminating the need for conventional flange connection work. Flangeless connections reduce the risk of water leakage from the connection points and are expected to enhance seismic resistance. Additionally, we offer a variety of options for connecting different types of pipes, allowing for a change in pipe type with just one joint.
If disassembly is required, it can be easily removed by simply loosening the installed bolts and nuts, making it useful as a fixture for piping tests using water pressure or air.
Please give it a try when connecting internally and externally coated steel pipes.
